Marvin B. Young Young, Marvin of High Ridge, Missouri, was born October 31, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri to Irvin and Florence (nee Hurdle) Young and entered into rest Wednesday, November 26 , 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 95 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Estelle (nee Dudenhoeffer) Young; son, Alan Young; parents, Irvin and Florence (nee Hurdle) Young; brothers, Larry (Janet)Young and Bob Young. He is survived by his children, Denny (Chris) Young and Diane (Kevin) Fisher; daughter-in-law, Christine Young; grandchildren, Corey (Angela) Young, Nicholas (Alexis) Young, Brandon Young, Hayley (Kate) Young, Natalie Young (Jordan Stoulp), Curtis (Brandi) Crawford, Dennis (Natalie) Crawford, Eric (Jessica) Young, Andrew (Tara) Young, Marissa Young (Bryce Repa), Paige (Mike) Sims, and Devin (Tasha) Fisher; numerous great-grandchildren; sister; Sandy (Glen) Russelberg; sister-in-law, Rita Young; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Marvin B. Young was a devoted father and grandfather whose life was defined by hard work, dedication, and a deep love for his family. A retired electrician from Wentzel Electric and proud member of the IBEW union, Marvin brought the same skill and commitment to his work as he did to everything in his life. In his free time, he found joy in breeding and raising beagles, as well as tending to his chickens and rabbits. He loved the outdoors and spent many peaceful hours fishing, hunting, and working with his hands. A talented woodworker and an all-around handyman, Marvin was always busy with a project. His home was affectionately known as the congregating place, where family and friends were always welcome to enjoy his famous fish fries, BBQs, and warm hospitality. His warmth, generosity, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Funeral Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary. Interment will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill, MO.
