Logan G. Jackson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Logan Jackson, who left us far too soon at the age of 15 on June 26, 2024 at St. Louis University Hospital. A bright light in many lives, Logan was known for his infectious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering spirit. Born on January 1, 2009, in St. Louis, he was a cherished son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Logan had a passion for fishing and camping. He also enjoyed sports especially the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs, music, and art, playing video games and he never hesitated to share his talents with others. His love for football, and soccer was evident to all who knew him, and he inspired his peers with his dedication and enthusiasm. Logan worked at Six Flags in Guest Services and attended Northwest High School in Cedar Hill where he played football and was loved by his classmates and teachers alike. He had a unique ability to make others feel valued and appreciated, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he met. Logan was more than just a remarkable athlete on the football and soccer field; he was a beacon of kindness and generosity in every aspect of his life. Always ready to lend a helping hand, Logan's compassion extended far beyond his immediate circle, as he frequently dedicated his time to feeding the homeless and supporting those in need. His infectious laugh and sense of humor brought joy to everyone around him, creating laughter-filled moments that will be cherished forever. Logan's love for his family, especially his beloved grandma Tammy, was unwavering and evident in every interaction. Whether he was sharing a quiet moment with his leopard geckos Leo, Luna, his cat Geo, and his dogs Desi and Lucy or enjoying a peaceful day of fishing with his uncle Codie, Logan's nurturing spirit shone brightly. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and an unyielding commitment to making the world a better place. He is survived by his mother, Sharee Pruett; father Gustavus Jackson; siblings, Bryden Barnes and Avery Jackson; grandparents, Tammy and Jerry Williams, Lillie (late Robert)Tuckson; aunts, Tamara Pruett, Ashely (Codie) Lane, LaRae Jackson, Colleen Jackson, uncles, Timothy Nezik and Russell Nezik; along with numerous other extended family and friends especially his best friends Kingston O’Brien and Landon Hardesty, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his aunt Amber Peters. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Rest in peace, dear Logan. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved you.
