Linda Koenig

Linda Kay Koenig, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on January 18, 2026, surrounded by the love she spent her life giving to others. She was born on January 11, 1959, in St. Louis, Missouri. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel (Helferstay) Davis; her father, Raymond Davis; and her loving husband, Dennis Koenig. She leaves behind her children: Dennis (Micah) Koenig, Lisa (Travis Cain) Koenig, David (Sarah) Koenig, and Michael Koenig. Linda was a proud and devoted grandmother to seven grandchildren: Justin, Josh, Taylor, D.J., Gabe, Oliver, and Everett, each of whom held a special place in her heart. She is also survived by her siblings: Raymond (Debby) Davis, David (Debbie) Davis, James (Mary Schmitt) Davis, Steven (Hom) Davis, Tina (Ronnie) Rulo, Mary (Joe) Federhoffer, and Robert (Tami Lange) Davis. Linda was a self-sacrificing woman with a generous heart. She cared deeply for many people throughout her life, often giving her last penny to help someone in need. Her kindness was quiet but constant, and her compassion touched countless lives. She found joy in simple pleasures. Linda loved embroidery, camping, bingo and going to “The Boat”. She was especially devoted to her family, building a unique and loving relationship with each of her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A dedicated and supportive mother, Linda attended every Boy Scout event with her son Micheal, never missing a chance to show her love and encouragement. Her presence, patience, and unwavering support will always be remembered. Linda Kay Koenig will be remembered for her generosity, her devotion to family, and the many lives she touched through her kindness and selflessness. Her legacy of love lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Thursday 9:00 am-11:00 am at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Funeral Ceremony will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary. Interment will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made on behalf of John Doe to Organization.
