Lillian A. Blair

Lillian A. Blair (née Hagler), of Brentwood, Missouri, passed away peacefully at the age of 91. She was born on January 8, 1935, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Herbert and Mildred (née Busch) Hagler. She spent her life devoted to family, home, and the quiet joys that meant the most to her. Loving wife of the late Frank L. Blair Jr; beloved daughter of the late Mildren and Herbert Hagler: devoted mother of Frank (Linda) Blair III., Michael (Maria) Blair, and Ronald (Fran) Blair; cherished grandmother of Emily (Shane) Presley, Frank Blair IV, Stephanie (Andy) Frank, Ronald Blair Jr., Krista Iwen, and Julia Blair; dear great grandmother of Londyn Presley, Isaac Frank, Prudence Sims, Elaine Frank, and Dalton Presley; dearest sister of Shirley (the late David) Perkins, the late Betty Hood, the late Gerald Hagler, and the late Jeanette (Walter) Keim. A bold woman with a good sense of humor, Lillian raised three boys with patience and strength. Her husband's ornery humor was passed down to their sons, and she handled it all with grace and wit. She was a wonderful homemaker who fully embraced her role as a wife and mother, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to her family. Lillian took the greatest joy in her grandchildren, who meant more to her than anything, and her great-grandchildren brought her endless happiness and entertainment in her later years. Family was always at the center of her world. She had a creative spirit and enjoyed crafting, paint-by-numbers, and working with ceramics. In her younger years, she found peace tending to her rose garden. Ever supportive of her family and community, Lillian also served as a Boy Scout leader for a short time. Lillian and her husband shared many activities together, including years spent bowling in a league. They were also owners of Top Spot Auto Body, where Lillian worked faithfully as the business's secretary. At home, she kept cooking simple and dependable—perfectly suited to her husband's "meat and potatoes" tastes. Lillian Adele Blair will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her steady presence, her creativity, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched.
