JIM â€œJ.J.â€ JAHNSEN, of Dittmer, Missouri was born March 17, 1960 in Kirkwood, Missouri to Leo and Josephine (nee Salamone) Jahnsen and died Friday, September 30, 2005 in Lonedell, Missouri at the age of 45 years 6 months and 13 days. His son, Michael Paul Jahnsen, was with him when he died (Died September 30, 2005). He is preceded in death by his father, Leo Jahnsen (Died June 7, 1996). He is survived by his wife, Susan (nee Freiburghaus) Jahnsen of Dittmer, Missouri,his two (2) sons, Kenny and Jason Jahnsen of Dittmer, Missouri,his daughter-in-law, Elyse (nee Spencer) Jahnsen of Dittmer, Missouri (Married August 27, 2005 to Michael Paul), who is expecting Jimâ€™s first grandchild,his mother, Josephine (nee Salamone) Jahnsen of Cedar Hill, Missouri, his nine (9) brothers and sisters, Gina (Lou) Bohn of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Steve (Denette) Jahnsen of Robertsville, Missouri, Michael (Nancy) Jahnsen of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Anna Marie (Ron) Short of Lonedell, Missouri, John (Johnna) Jahnsen of Lonedell, Missouri, Carol (John) Woolsey of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Paul (Mary) Jahnsen of Owensville, Missouri, Joe (Wanda) Jahnsen of Owensville, Missouri and Jennifer (Michael) Jones of Robertsville, Susanâ€™s parents, Barbara Richards of Farmington, Missouri and David (Marion) Freiburghaus of Fenton, Missouri, Susanâ€™s five (5) brothers and sisters, Sandy (Rick) Young of Eureka, Missouri, Kim McKinney of St. Ann, Missouri, Brian Freiburghaus of Farmington, Missouri, Steve Freiburghaus of Fenton, Missouri and Mark (Susan) Freiburghaus of Havelock, North Carolina, and many other relatives and friends. Jim and Susan where gradeschool sweethearts, which found Jim often in the office for â€œkissing in the hallsâ€. That same devotion to one another inspired a loving, happy home where they raised three wonderful sons. Responsible, loyal and talented with a keen mind, Jim devoted more than twenty-six years to a career with Bill Williams Construction Company in Cedar Hill, Missouri and was equally passionate about his John Deere Tractors. To some in our community, he was the fiddle player, guitarist and lead singer in the family band, â€œTimberlineâ€. For others, he was simply a person who would help with anything you might need at the time. Throughout his lifetime, Jim drew his strength from God, always trying to make a difference in the lives of those he touched.
