Mathes, Denver, of Cedar Hill, Missouri, was born March 15, 1938, in Black, Missouri, to Ottis and LanLaNelle (nee Tucker) Mathes, and entered into rest, Saturday, March 23, 2013, at St. Clare Health Center in Fenton, Missouri, at the age of 75 years and 8 days. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ottis Mathes and LanLaNelle (nee Tucker) Schmidt, one (1) brother, Greg Mathes, and one (1) brother in law, Richard Dunn.. He is survived by, His wife, Eunice (nee Ficken) Mathes, married November 28, 2009, in House Springs, Missouri, six (6) children, Kent (Kris) Mathes, of Seattle, Washington, Kevin (Rowena) Mathes, of Doe Run, Missouri, Wally (Kelly) Jones, of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Kimberly (John) Conley, of Robertsville, Missouri, Rhonda (Kevin) Lee, of Cedar Hill, Missouri, and Chris (Serena) Jones, of Houston, Texas, seventeen (17) grandchildren, Ryan, Laurel, Brianna, Maria, Tara, John, Scott, Anthony, Samantha, Josh, Jake, Shayna, Kassidy, Kaylee, Emily, Carley and Madelyn, four (4) great grandchildren, Carter, Bella, Rylan and Lyla, four (4) siblings, Joel (Rosemary) Mathes, of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, Billie Dunn, of Lesterville, Missouri, Sherrie (Joe) Eaton, of Lesterville, Missouri, and Sherryl (Alvin) White, of Farmington, Missouri, one (1) sister in law, Liz Mathes, of Fenton, Missouri, dear friends, Bob (Sharon) Puckett, and many other relatives and friends. Denver enjoyed being outdoors fishing, gardening, working in the yard and loved trains. He retired from the Navy serving 22 years and was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace. He is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation Monday, March 22, 2013, from 4 until 8 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Mass will be Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace, House Springs, Missouri. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Cedar Hill, MO.
