Deborah Jean Collins

Deborah Jean (née Boyer) Collins of High Ridge, Missouri, was born December 21, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri to James and Betty (née Bequette) Boyer and entered into rest Monday, August 17, 2026 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota at the age of 68 years. She is preceded in death by her father, James Boyer; parents-in-law, Joseph and Marlene (née Grosswiler) Collins; sister-in-law, Mary Boyer; brother-in-law, Michael Collins. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Collins; mother, Betty (née Bequette) Boyer; children, Christine (Jared) Patterson, Catherine (Ernad Cavka) Collins, and Melissa (Brennan) Callahan; grandchildren, Brooklyn Patterson, Brody Patterson, Teddy Patterson, Tinsley Patterson, Blakely Patterson, Tucker Patterson, Sofia Cavka, Edi Cavka, Adalae Callahan, Eleanor Callahan, and Beckham Callahan; siblings, Dennis (Becky) Boyer, Timmy Boyer, and Karen (David) Bauer; along with numerous other extended family and friends. Debbie was the rock of her family, a loving and devoted presence who could always be counted on to be there for the people she loved. She treasured the time she spent with her grandbabies and never missed a birthday, holiday, family event, or special occasion, always making sure to send a thoughtful card and let her loved ones know they were remembered. She had a generous heart and found great joy in giving gifts and making others feel special. Debbie was incredibly crafty and enjoyed sewing, gardening, shopping, going out to eat, and decorating for every holiday and season. She was patient, hardworking, thoughtful, and very giving, always willing to put others before herself. A breast cancer survivor, Debbie was a strong fighter who faced life’s challenges with courage, determination, and faith. Her strong faith was an important part of her life and guided the way she loved and cared for those around her. Debbie’s warmth, generosity, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri 63016. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 4696 Notre Dame Drive, House Springs, Missouri 63051.
