Willard Ray Rainey

June 29, 1936 - May 3, 2022

Rainey, Willard “PaPa” Ray, of High Ridge, Missouri, was born June 29, 1936 in Millcreek Missouri to Cecil Rainey and Anna (nee Johnson) Rainey and entered into rest Tuesday, May 3, 2022 in Arnold, Missouri at the age of 85 years, 10 month, and 4 days. He is preceded in death by, both of his parents, his siblings: Irene Tesreau, Anna May (Lee) Chapman, Geraldine Evans, Norma Tripp, Marie Whitaker, Etta Lou Wray, and Lillian Johnson, John Rainey, and Wayne Rainey. He is survived by, his loving wife, Patricia A. (nee Vineyard) Rainey His Son, Wayne (the late Denise) Rainey Two Grandchildren, Austin (Madison) Rainey, and Gavin Rainey Two Great-grandchildren, Aiden and Kennedy Rainey Two siblings, Roy (Pat) Rainey, and Carl Rainey along with numerous extended family and friends. Willard “PaPa” Rainey was a man that enjoyed the simpler things in life. He loved being outside, whether it be fishing or tending to his flower garden. But, the one thing he enjoyed most of all was his family. Willard married his wife Patricia in February of 1965 in St. Louis, MO. Together, they built a beautiful family that they treasured dearly. If there was one thing that he will be remembered for; it will be that he loved his family more than anything. Willard will be dearly missed by those who loved him and were able to know him. Memorial Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in honor of Willard. Visitation, Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary. Service, Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. and the Graveside will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
