McFarland, Wayne, of Cedar Hill, Missouri, was born July 27, 1938 in St. Genevieve, Missouri to William and Mary (nee Howard) McFarland and entered into rest Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in Cedar Hill, Missouri at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 16 days. He is preceded in death by, his parents, second wife, Connie McFarland & third wife, Pat McFarland five (5) siblings, Marie (Bob) Kemp, William McFarland, Gracie (Ed) Michel, Dorothy (Leon) Helms, & Charles McFarland*, one (1) grandchild, Kaylee Lynn Mitchell, He is survived by, first wife, Geneva McFarland three (3) children, Janice (Gary) Burkhead, Deborah Mitchell, & Gary (Danielle) McFarland, seven (7) grandchildren, Robert (Robin) McFarland, Katthlean Burkhead, Jessica Kroner, Daniel (Amanda) Burkhead, Jason (Kayla) Kroner, Hayley Burkhead, & Precious Mitchell, six (6) great grandchildren, Jersey Lederle, Damien Kroner, Maci McFarland, Joslynn Kroner, Annabelle Hollingshead, & Kaden Hollingshead, one (1) brother, Ronnie (Dee) McFarland, one (1) sister in-law, Maxine McFarland*, along with numerous extended family and friends Wayne was talented and loved to play his instruments. His last band, the Hayseed Band, let him keep enjoying music for a long time. Traveling was a passion of his and so was his motorcycle. Dogs really were his best friend, from Sadie, Kate, Cricket, Staley, & Smokey he loved them all. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation Monday, October 25, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Service Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri, followed by interment at Sunset Cemetery in Pacific.
