Thomas C. Davis, of Dittmer, Missouri, was born February 12, 1932 in Lonedell, Missouri to Alfred and Nadine (nee Bilyeu) Davis, and entered into rest Friday, July 29, 2022 in Dittmer, Missouri at the age 90 years, 5 months, and 17 days. He is proceeded in death by, his parents and his siblings, Alfred W. Davis Jr., Murriell C. Davis, Walter G. Davis, Barbara A. Jarrett, and Geraldine O. Hoekstra Swindell. He is survived by, his wife Judith (nee Laffoon) Davis and his daughters, Mechele (Kevin) Moore and Katherine McCart. Grandchildren, David (Kim) Moore, Andrew (Brittney) Moore, and Kelsey (Bryan) Pollard. Great-Grandchildren, Kaitlyn Moore, Jacob Moore and Korbin Pollard. As well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. Tom served his country during the Korean War. He retired from McDonnell Douglas after 32 years of employment. He also enjoyed bowling throughout his life and after retiring he worked part time at White Oak Bowling Alley. Tom had many interests: Boating (Amphicar was his favorite), fishing, hunting, gardening, machinery, carpentry, golfing, rock collector and spending time at the lake. He was a life member of VFW post 5331, Cedar Hill and a life member of Amvets post 108 of Rocky Mount, Mo. Tom had many skills and was always ready to share those skills and mentor others. He had a great love for animals and we referred to him has the animal whisper. His moto was ‘Motor Easy and Be Happy’. Visitation Saturday August 13, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service at 12:00 p.m. at St Martin's United Church of Christ 7890 Dittmer Ridge Rd, Dittmer, MO 63023.
