Robert Lee Roskowske

Robert Lee Roskowske, of High Ridge, Missouri, was born June 24,1936 in Valley Park, Missouri to Otto and Daisy (nee Huff) Roskowske and went to be with his Lord on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at his home in High Ridge, Missouri at the age of 85 years, 1 month and 14 days. He is preceded in death by his parents and three siblings: Arthur, Luella and Otto, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, JoAnn ( nee Parker) Roskowske, two children: Shela Clayton and Robert (Johnna) Roskowske, Jr., five grandchildren: Devan (James) Kelemen, Franklin ( Alicia) Clayton, Jr., Robert Roskowske III, Justin (Erika) Roskowske, and Brandi Roskowske, eight great-grandchildren: Vivian, Skylar, BreElla, Lela, Easton, MaxImus, Lyle, and Remi, along with numerous extended family and friends. On September 16, 1955 Bob accepted Jesus as his personal savior and was, soon after, baptized in the Holy Spirit, beginning a relationship that never wavered throughout his life. He enjoyed membership in the Frontiersman Camping Fraternity and served the Royal Ranger organization tirelessly. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a master craftsman and artist, generous, fair and honest. Bob enjoyed a well told story and never lost his work ethic or sense of loyalty. He fought the good fight, kept his faith and was a defender of the helpless. “ A man never stands so tall as when he stoops to help a child…” Visitation Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Funeral service held Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. followed by interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
