Pansy M. Smith, 87, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Advent Hospital in Sebring, FL. Pansy was born on November 24, 1934 in Caraway, AR to the late Eugene and Mable (nee Lentz) Grogan. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers; the late Larry Wayne Grogan and the late Cory Dean Grogan. Pansy met and married James Edward Smith November 24, 1951. She was a devoted Christian that read her Bible and prayed daily. She was baptized in Southeast, Missouri at Assembly of God Church . Pansy had a love for shopping, the "Home Shopping Network " was an all time favorite. her most cherished purchases most often included jewelry. She enjoyed dining out at restaurants and also being at home watching her favorite television shows. With her passion being shopping, it is no surprise that she was a committed employee to Famous Barr Department store and retired in 1959. A couple of Pansy's hobbies were; collecting porcelain dolls, and clothes. She was quiet but witty, she could make you breakout into sudden laughter without warning, she was very supportive. Her greatest gifts and rewards are her daughters: Charlotte Coleman, Melissa Chambers, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren along with other family and friends. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
