August 5, 1937 - March 16, 2021

WARREN, Mary Lou J. of Valles Mines, Missouri, was born August 5, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri to Herbert McClary and Margaret Fetter (nee Stillwell) and entered into rest Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at her home at the age of 83 years, 7 months and 11 days. She is preceded in death by, her parents, her loving husband, Thomas E. Warren, married 1955 one (1) brother, Willis McClary and one (1) sister, Ida “Bunnie” Mehrtens, She is survived by one (1) sister, Patricia Branson, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, along with numerous extended family and friends. Mary Lou was a strong and independent woman. She was an amazing cook, making the best hot fudge and sloppy joes. She had a heart of gold and cared deeply for her animals. Mary Lou found joy in scrapbooking and spent a lot of time in her garden. Her family remembers that she could grow almost anything. She taught her nieces how to haggle, frequently shopping for garage sale and flea market finds. Mary Lou was an extremely caring person and a loving wife. She may not have had children of her own but she was a mother figure to everyone around her. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Funeral service held Thursday, March 25, 2:00 p.m. followed by interment at Peaceful Meadows Cemetery in Hillsboro. Memorial donations may be made to The Humane Society or Stray Rescue of St. Louis..
