Betle, Mary Joan (nee Spalding), of Cedar Hill, Missouri, was born July 27, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri to Joseph and Cecelia (nee Robinson) Spalding and entered into rest Tuesday, June 28, 2022 in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 88 years, 11 months and 1 day. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Louis Charles Betle seven (7) siblings, Lucille Korte, Jean Sullivan, Charlotte Gruettemeyer, Leonard Spalding, James Spalding, Robert Spalding, and Walter Spalding two (2) grandchildren, Kellie Kay Kennon and Samuel Louis Usery one (1) son-in-law, Larry Scheiter She is survived by, seven (7) children, Janice Scheiter, Karen (Michael) Garrett, Marsha (Mark) Nelson, Glenda Crow, Christy (Chris) Jennewein, Judy (Tom) Gonzalez, and Kenneth (Theresa) Betle fifteen (15) grandchildren, Michael, Ryan, Daniel, Casey, Dalton, Wyatt, Amber, Jared, Jake, Shawn, Amy, Michael, Becky, Joey, and Jimmy fourteen (14) great grandchildren along with numerous extended family and friends. Mary was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt, and Friend. Her life will be remembered as the best grandma someone could have and an amazing mother, like none other. Her faith was number 1, Family was her number 2, and her friends were a close number 3. She had a love for Cardinals, both the team and the birds. Though we will no longer see her beautiful face, bright blue eyes, or hear her contagious laugh, it will only be a minute till we see her again. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Memorial donations in Mary’s name may be made to the American Lung Association. Visitation, Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. followed by the service at Chapel Hill Mortuary and graveside at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
