Nichols, Marilyn (nee Oswald) of House Springs, Missouri, was born February 6, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri to Elmer and Jessica (nee Corneau) Oswald and entered into rest Saturday, January 15, 2022 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 78 years, 11 months and 9 days. She is preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Justin Nichols; three brothers, Sonny (Diane) Oswald, Don (Kathy) Oswald and Glen Oswald; one brother-in-law, Dennis Nichols. She is survived by her loving husband, Jack Nichols; two (2) children, Mark (Arlene) Nichols and Tim (Michelle) Nichols; five (5) grandchildren, Nathan Nichols, Matthew (Katie) Nichols, Mandy (Chris) Eldon, Ricky (Margaret) Metzing and Barry (Amanda) Metzing; ten (10) great grandchildren; one (1) sister, Sherry (Harold) Mueller; one (1) brother-in-law, Tom (the late Twilla) Nichols; one (1) sister-in-law, Christina (Mike) O’Sullivan. Marilyn loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking and feeding the birds. Marilyn also enjoyed collecting teddy bears. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary 6300 Hwy 30 Cedar Hill, Missouri 63016. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
