Jearldean “Geri” Hinklin (nee Cupp), of High Ridge, Missouri, was born October 20, 1948 in Senath, Missouri to Elvis Monroe and Erma Dean (nee Bradford) Cupp and entered into rest Tuesday, January 16, 2024 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 75 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elvis Monroe and Erma Dean; husband, Verlie “Ray” Hinklin; and brother, L.D. Cupp. She is survived by her children, Deana Diane (Jim) Pesek of High Ridge, Missouri, Buddy Ray (Leighanna) Hinklin of Cedar Hill, Missouri, and Jamie Lee Hinklin of Festus, Missouri; grandchildren, Rhiannon Alyss (Dustin) Schaeffer, Adrianna Grace (Alex LaRue) Pesek, Justin Ray (Alexia) Hinklin, Damon Michael, Dylan Steven, Jackson Lee Hinklin, Kennedy Leann Hinklin; great-grandchildren, Rowan James Schaeffer, Raelynn Grace Schaeffer, Michael Ray; sister, Diane (the late Melvin) Lindsey of Doniphan; along with numerous other extended family and friends. Geri was deeply committed to her family which included her sweet pup, Charlie. The love of her grandchildren brought immense joy. She enjoyed embarking on journeys with friends and her time spent with the “Golden Girls.” She was a beacon of faith, and her spirituality was a guiding force throughout her remarkable life. Geri enjoyed cooking and passed down family recipes, ensuring that each recipe was a link to the past and a gift to the future. Her avid love for animals, vibrant gardens, and cherished moments with friends and family will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to share her wonderful journey through life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill, MO. Interment will immediately follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, 8701 Byrnesville Rd, Cedar Hill, MO 63016.
