Jean Lannert

Jean (nee Sherrill) Lannert of House Springs, Missouri, was born July 12, 1932 in Annapolis, Missouri to Sherman and Zora (nee LaPlante) Sherrill and entered into rest Sunday, May 5, 2024 in Eureka, Missouri at the age of 91 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Zora (nee LaPlante) Sherrill; her loving husband, Norbert Lannert; siblings, Betty, Hilda, Yvonne, Bud, and R.D. She is survived by her son, Jeff (Tracy) Lannert; grandchildren, Zoe Lannert and Luke Lannert; along with numerous other extended family and friends. Jean was a pillar of love and strength whose life was a testament of kindness and devotion. Her heart overflowed with boundless affection for her cherished grandkids, whose laughter filled her days with boundless joy and endless wonder. Alongside her beloved husband, she shared a love that stood the test of time, a beacon of warmth and support through life’s journey. A devout member of House Springs Baptist Church, her faith was the cornerstone of her being, guiding her with unwavering grace and compassion. Her cooking and baking was a source of comfort and delight for all who gathered around her table. She found solace in yardwork, specifically cutting the grass. Her legacy of love, faith, and joy will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Funeral Ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill, MO. Interment will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Affton, Missouri.
