Harold Lee LaChance, of Arnold, Missouri, was born August 30, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri to Eugene LaChance and Scedell LaChance (nee Newcomb), and entered into rest Saturday, July 9, 2022 in Arnold, Missouri at the age of 61 years, 10 months and 10 days. He is preceded in death by, his parents, eight (8) siblings; Velma (Ted) Baker, Norma Jean (Wayne) Higgins, Scedell (Peter) Glazewski, Diana Hargrove, Russell LaChance, Michael LaChance, Roxanne (John) Whitlock, and Jenny Reed. He is survived by, two (2) children; Travis LaChance and Kyle LaChance, three (3) grandchildren; Landon LaChance, Dawson LaChance, and Henry LaChance, five (5) siblings; Brenda Hayes, Cindy Hartupee, Kim (Kevin) Conley, Joanne (Ron) Krepps, Martin (Sharon) Novak, along with numerous extended family and friends. Harold was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and special friend to many. He loved spending time with the family. Harold had a big heart - always friendly and greeted everyone with a smile. He had a humorous side with a contagious laugh – lit up a room. He was the “life of the party”. Harold served in the Navy. He had a career in printing and advertisement, as a printer. Harold enjoyed sports – a huge St. Louis Cardinal and Blues fan. He loved amusement parks, especially roller-coasters and thrill rides – often times amused by family members who were not so thrilled at the rides. Harold had a passion for music – playing the guitar…especially with his sister Jean. Harold will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
