October 14, 1940 - March 22, 2022

Glatt, Grant, of Cedar Hill, Missouri, was born October 14, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri to Oreal and Irma (Nee Kohler) Glatt and entered into rest Tuesday, March 22, 2022 in Cedar Hill, Missouri at the age of 81 years, 5 months, and 8 days. He is preceded in death by, his parents, and sister Grace Powell He is survived by, his loving wife Joyce (Nee Gonz) Glatt, His son Lynn Clayton, (Victoria) Glatt Two grandchildren, Hadden (Holly), Olivia (Trevor) Three great grandchildren, Blake, Brady, and Jackson along with numerous extended family and friends. Grant was a very active member in the community. He served on many committees for St John’s Lutheran where he had the roles Elder, treasure, president and many other titles. He was also a treasure for Hope Lutheran in High Ridge. He spread his love for Walnut trees by being a member of the Walnut Council of Missouri and Nut Growers of Missouri. He planted a vast number of trees in many areas. Grant won Honor of National Graffter of the year. He served on the board of directors on Teens Encounter Christ. He was on the board of directors for United Mutual Insurance, He was an avid outdoorsman and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He particularly enjoyed crappie fishing in the spring. Grant liked spending quality time with his family. He also loved his dear dog Sparky. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial Donations can be made to Hope Lutheran Church and Lutheran Teens Encounter Christ. Visitation will be held on March 28, 2022, from 4:oo-8:oopm at Chapel Hill Mortuary. 6300 Hwy 30, Cedar Hill, MO, 63016. Prior to Services there will be a viewing for friends and family starting at 9:30am. Services March 29, 2022 starting at 10:30am at Hope Lutheran High Ridge. Internment will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
