Gary W. Gordon Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Gordon, Gary W. of St. Louis, Missouri was born June 7, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri, to Willis and Joyce (nee Heald) Gordon and passed peacefully in his home surrounded by those he loved on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the age of 68 years. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Teri Gordon (nee Minor). He is survived by his wife Rosemary Gordon (nee Hampel) of St. Louis, Missouri, two (2) children, Derek Gordon of High Ridge, Missouri and Lynsey Gordon of Osage Beach, Missouri, two (2) siblings, Dee Ring of Imperial, Missouri and Jim (Mickie) Gordon of Arnold, Missouri, two (2) sisters-in-law, Christine Fraley and Jacki Fanger (nee Minor), along with a special great niece, Hazel Fraley and many other family and friends. He fought a courageous battle with prostate cancer with the help of his family and brilliant research by Dr. Himisha Beltran at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Gary was known as fur daddy to Daisy and Faith, as well as many other senior rescue dogs over the years. He was active in church, enjoyed puzzles, and loved to travel, especially on cruises. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary 6300 Hwy 30 Cedar Hill, Missouri 63016. Service will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary 6300 Hwy 30 Cedar Hill, Missouri 63016. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
