Elizabeth "Betty" Weatherby

ELIZABETH “BETTY” WEATHERBY (nee Hayes) of House Springs, Missouri was born July 1, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to Ignatius and Lorraine (nee Sylvia) Hayes and died Sunday, October 25, 2020 at her home in House Springs, Missouri at the age of 78 years 3 months and 24 days. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Weatherby, her parents, Ignatius and Lorraine Hayes, along with five (5) siblings, Mary Lou Russell, Rich Hayes, Robert Hayes, Jim Hayes and Joe Hayes. Betty is survived by her five (5) children, Kevin (Melanie) Weatherby of Atlanta, Georgia, Pam (Mark) Booth of Florida, Tim (Julie) Weatherby of House Springs, Missouri, Christopher (Lindsey) Weatherby of St. Louis, Missouri and Elizabeth (Mike) Kreminski of House Springs, Missouri, fourteen (14) grandchildren, Kristen, Amy, Justin, Jordan, Kelsey, Sidney, Samantha, Stephen, Keith, C.J., Jordy, Rowan, Kaylee and Reissen, five (5) great-grandchildren, two (2) siblings, Mike (Pat) Hayes of Ohio and Kathy (Terry) Kordonowy of St. James, Missouri and many other relatives and friends. Betty was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and actively raised her family at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish in House Springs, Missouri. She was a familiar face to our community during her career opening the original Wal-Mart in House Springs, Missouri where she remained until retiring when the store relocated to High Ridge, Missouri. She is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
