Dolores was a superwoman. From an amazing business career to being an even better mother she always knew what to do. She was also known as “Bitsy” or “Button”. Tap dancing on the Admiral, opening the first Rolling Rink and Night Club in High Ridge, Causeys Grove Steakhouse, Natches Townhouses, and so many other business adventures made her one of a kind. She loved to bowl whenever she could. Being a self-made millionaire was one of her greatest accomplishments. The first Elks Lodge of High Ridge building was one of Delores’s and Leon’s furniture stores. The Elks, VFW, and the Eagles of High Ridge played a big part of her and her husband, Leon’s life. Being married to him 62 years was just another thing to add to the list. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
