Harness, Cletus, of Fenton, Missouri, was born October 17, 1922, in Byrnesville, Missouri to Elmer and Kate (nee Crean) Harness and entered into rest Friday, November 19, 2021, in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 99 years, 1 month, and 2 days. He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Dorothy (nee Brewington) Harness, three (3) siblings, Lorraine (Leo) Boverie, Lucille (George) Karr, and John (Betty) Harness, He is survived by, one (1) child, Deborah J. (Karl) Scheidt, two (2) grandchildren, Lori (Jim) Cram and Karl (Joanne) Scheidt Jr., four (4) great grandchildren, Katherine, Allison, and Elizabeth Scheidt and Joshua Cram, along with numerous extended family and friends. Cletus loved his friends and family. His friends at the Big River VFW were some of his greatest friends. The outdoors were his escape. His favorite time of the year was any holiday full of laughter and smiles. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation Friday, November 26, 2021 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Service will follow then burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Franklin County or Greater St. Louis Honor Flight.
