Chris Kalna

March 28, 1975 - November 2, 2021

Kalna, Chris “Catfish” Born March 28, 1975 in St. Louis, Missouri. Suddenly passed Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at home with his loving wife and father. Chris loved the outdoors. He could out bass fish the best of them and help guide the worst of them. Spring turkey hunting, he lived for those big gobblers, full strut, with long beards, calling away. Then came autumn with deer season. His best memories were the lake with his family during the rut. He found his soul in those woods, especially when he searched the woods for big antlers and dead heads. Then was football season… “How ‘bout them cowboys?” He will be missed by many because he was loved by all. He is survived by, his wife, Brittany (nee Gould) Kalna, father, Tony (Anton) Kalna Sr., brother, Tony (Lori) Kalna Jr., nephew, Tony Kalna III, in-laws John & Linda Gould, brother-in-law, Davis Gould, and furry friends, Dallas and Tyson. He is proceeded in death by, his mother, Phyllis Kay Kalna, and furry friend, Patches and Willie, Chris had many friends he loved, too many to count, which he considered his family. Services will be held by the family at a later date In lieu of flowers donations can be made to KNAPS, Kids Need A Place To Start. Family and friends can review and share stories, photos and condolences online at www.stlfuneral.com and follow details of this event and others in the community at www.facebook.com/stlchapelhill.
