Catherine Jane Jones, nee Wieland aged 93 passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in Cottontown, TN. She was born on September 7, 1927 in Rolla, MO, to Clarence and Nancy Wieland. She married Gerald (Jerry) Francis Jones on May 7, 1948. She was a longtime resident of Cedar Hill, MO. She retired from Southwestern Bell after many years of service. She was active in her church, Belews Creek Chapel and was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her hobbies were gardening, swimming and traveling. She is survived by daughter Nancy (Michael) Meng of Herculaneum, MO. Daughter Patty Jones of Thrall TX. Daughter Sandra (Ron) Gaus of Sunset Hills, MO. Son Jerry (Diane) Jones of Cottontown, TN. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Jane was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, her parents Clarence and Nancy (nee) Kidwell, brother Robert, twin brothers Clarence and William, and identical twin Margaret June, and son in law David Heselmeyer. Visitation Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Hwy 30 Cedar Hill Mo 63016. Interment to follow at Belew Creek Cemetery in Hillsboro. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Wounded Warrior Foundation or Samaritan’s Purse.
