CAROL M. PAINTER (nee Obermark) of House Springs, Missouri was born March 12, 1942 in Washington, Missouri to John “Rudy” and Mildred (nee Borgerding) Obermark and died Friday, January 21, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Des Peres, Missouri at the age of 79 years 10 months and 9 days. She is preceded in death by her parents, John “Rudy” and Mildred (nee Borgerding) Obermark, her son, Curtis Painter, and her brother, John Obermark. She is survived by her husband of fifty-six (56) years, George Painter of House Springs, Missouri (Married November 27, 1965 in Krakow, Missouri), four (4) children, Cynthia Painter of St. Louis, Missouri, Christine (Charles) Curtis of Pacific, Missouri, Steven (Christina) Painter of Cedar Hill, Missouri and Timothy Painter of High Ridge, Missouri, four (4) grandchildren, Wesley Curtis, Ryan Curtis, Sabrina Painter and Adalynn Painter, four (4) siblings, Kenn (Carol) Obermark, Washington, Missouri, Roch (Leona) Obermark, Krakow, Missouri, Val (Cathy) Obermark, Washington, Missouri and Sister Judy Obermark, SSND, St. Louis, Missouri, her sister-in-law, Charlene Obermark of Beloit, Wisconsin and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Carol was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother – loving, kind, strong, patient and resilient. Carol loved crafting, sewing, knitting, reading and gardening. She is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Service Monday, January 31, 2022 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary. Graveside Service with Interment Monday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Krakow, Missouri.
