BETTY J. “Meme” PRASUHN (nee Lindsey) of Cedar Hill, Missouri was born November 7, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri to Clifford E., Sr. and Hazel M. (nee Mieure) Lindsey and died Friday, May 6, 2022 in Eureka, Missouri at the age of 93 years 5 months and 29 days. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eugene L. “Paupy” Prasuhn, her three (3) siblings, Clifford “Buddy” Lindsey, Jr., Spencer Lindsey, and Gary Lindsey, her sister-in-law Anita Lindsey, her son-in-law, Dale Barnhart, and her grandson, Shane (wife, Crystal) Prasuhn. She is survived by her eight (8) children, Jim Prasuhn of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Kathy (husband, Buz) Hofstetter of House Springs, Missouri, Judy Barnhart of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Rick (wife, Janet) Prasuhn of Fenton, Missouri, John (wife, Leslie Wilson) Prasuhn of Fort Collins, Colorado, Randy (wife, Susie) Prasuhn of Fort Collins, Colorado, Becky (husband, Tim) Scoles of Labadie, Missouri and Gary (wife, Jeanette) Prasuhn of Bonne Terre, Missouri, nineteen (19) grandchildren, Julie (husband, Jon) Baldwin, Bradley (wife, Sarah) Prasuhn, Amanda (husband, Tyler Worlund) Prasuhn, Dawn (husband, Tom) Douglas, Amy (husband, Brian) May, Shelley (husband, Johnny) Lewellen, Matt (wife, Sam) Hofstetter, Craig (wife, Missy) Barnhart, Chad (wife, Lisa) Barnhart, Nick (wife, Nikki) Barnhart, Jacob Prasuhn, Lucas Prasuhn, Corey Prasuhn, Caity Prasuhn, Adam Prasuhn, Lindsey (husband, Josh) Blechle, Jamie Scoles, Amy (husband, Anthony) Granda and Mariah (husband, Justin) Hinkle, twenty-six (26) great-grandchildren, Kurestin, Ethan, Jameson, Avery, Tommy, Tyler, Maddie, Audrey, Will, Drew, Alli, Ben, Luke, Holt, Tate, Abbey, Anthony, Justin, Tiffany, Nash, Elle, Collin, Adam, Abby, Parker and Addi, two (2) sisters-in-law, Michele Lindsey of Fenton, Missouri and Janet Lindsey of Fenton, Missouri, and many other relatives and friends. Betty was an avid crafter and very creative. Her favorite crafting activity was cross-stitching and painting. She loved flowers and butterflies. She had a great passion for shopping. Meme, as she was called by her family, was very devoted and justifiably proud of her family. She loved her family, and enjoyed visiting with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Betty was generous, easy to get along with, and loved by everyone who knew her. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Visitation will be Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri with Service Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary followed by Interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
