Stroup, Barbara J., of Kirkwood, Missouri, was born December 16, 1938 in Kirkwood, Missouri to George and Eleanora (nee Winstead) Engel and entered into rest Monday, January 17, 2022 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 83 years, 1 month and 1 day. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald Stroup, Sr., her daughter, Debra Keck, her son Donald R. Stroup, Jr., and her grandsons Kyle Thompson and Ryan Nash. She is survived by her children Laura M. Kelley, George R. Stroup and Karla J. Sebold. Grandchildren Stephanie, Becky, Sarah, Adam, Emily, Willie, Nicole, Tina, Justin, Bruce, Nick, Leah, Paige, Sydni, several great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. along with numerous extended family and friends. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 24th at Noon at Chapel Hill Mortuary- 10301 Big Bend Road. Visitation from 11 A.M. until the time of service. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
