Wanda Lee Patterson Patterson, Wanda Lee (nee Dunshee) of House Springs, Missouri, was born June 26, 1933 in Eugene, Missouri to Orville and Mary Marjory (nee Johnston) Dunshee and entered into rest Thursday, June 1, 2023 in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 89 years, 11 months and 6 days. Wanda is survived by her loving husband, John Patterson, who resides in their home. She is the loving mother of four children, Sharon “Sherry” Blair, Randall (April Brummett) Thompson, Lisa (Rick) Wallace, and Douglas (Joan) Thompson. Step-mother of Renee (John) Travis and Renita (Matt) Koch. She is the proud grandmother of Angela (Steven) Heath, Amy (Bryan) Brown, Corey (Halie) Larkowski, Crystal Wilson, Bradley (Ashley) Thompson, Erin (Kosta) Savic, and Amber Thompson. Step-grandmother of Nathan Marler, Alise (Brad) Edmonds, and Tyler Reed. Great-grandmother of thirteen great-grandchildren, Abbie, Emily, Braden, Macy, Sofia, Ana Bella, Alek, Katerina, Caleb, Nolan, Christian, Cayden, and Owen. Step great-grandmother of five step great-grandchildren, Bentley, Beau, Jaxon, Juliette, and Parker. Great-great grandmother of two great-great grandchildren, Wyatt and Jameson. Wanda is survived by many extended family and friends. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Mary Marjory Dunshee, her son-in-law, Dean Blair, and one step-daughter, Ramona Phillips. Wanda lived a beautiful life full of love and happiness. She is remembered for great wisdom and a willingness to love and help others. Those who knew Wanda, remember her as a devoted and passionate woman with a great sense of humor. Wanda was a woman with strong faith who enjoyed going to church to worship. She especially enjoyed church with her children beside her. Wanda was an educated and accomplished woman whose heart belonged to God and Family. She was admired for earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, an Associate’s Degree in Christian Counseling, and an Associate’s Degree in Cosmetology. Wanda was an active, busy lady. She had a passion for quilting, horseback riding, and reading her Bible. Her memory will forever be in the hearts of those she touched. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation Friday, June 9, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary. Service will be Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Chapel Hill Mortuary at 10 a.m. followed by a Graveside Service at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
