Todd Randolph Kohler

Kohler, Todd Randolph of Imperial, Missouri was born June 24, 1957 in Riverhead, Long Island, New York to Raymond and Audrey (nee Jones) Kohler and entered into rest Sunday, January 12, 2025 at the age of 67 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Audrey (nee Jones) Kohler. He is survived by his spouse, Connie (nee Vitale) Kohler; six (6) children, Charles, Melissa, Scott, Tiffany, Shannon, and Missy; fifteen (15) grandchildren; four (4) brothers; along with numerous other extended family and friends. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Todd, a loving husband, devoted father, doting grandfather, and cherished brother. He left this world surrounded by the love of his family, whom he cherished above all. A protector to his children and a steadfast supporter to those he held dear, Todd infused every moment with warmth and resilience. Known for his spirited, stubborn nature, he was a true free spirit—a crazy horse at heart—yet he found grounding in the unwavering love of his wife, Connie. Their relationship, nurtured over 20 beautiful years, was a testament to their deep connection and mutual respect. A passionate music lover, Todd found joy in the sounds of classic rock, and he transformed that passion into an endeavor he cherished: owning KGF Rocks, a radio station in St. Louis, where he also shared his love of music as a disc jockey and radio show host. His deep appreciation for music was rivaled only by his commitment to his country, having proudly served in the U.S. Navy. His military background ignited a fervent interest in history, particularly the various wars that shaped our nation—a passion that he shared with those around him. Todd was known for his wisdom, often encapsulated in the quotes he adored. One of his favorites, “Life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans,” John Lennon, served as a guiding principle for him, and he took great pleasure in sharing life lessons through song with his children. A devoted sports enthusiast, Todd was a lifelong fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the St. Louis Blues. He took delight in cheering for his teams, creating joyous memories with family and friends in the process. He had a soft spot for the movie Forrest Gump, frequently reminiscing about its heartfelt messages. Though Todd will be deeply missed, his legacy of love, laughter, and music will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. He leaves behind a family and a community enriched by his spirit, and we take solace knowing he is now at peace. A Graveside Service with military honors will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63125. Following the Graveside Service, a celebration of Todd's life will be held at the Arnold VFW Post 2593, 2301 Church Road, Arnold, Missouri 63010.
