Thomas M. Kull

Tom was born on October 28, 1946, in Cedar Hill Missouri. He grew up on his parent's dairy farm located in Byrnesville, Missouri, and was the beloved son of Thomas and Christine Alberta Kull. After attending the Missouri Military Academy located in Mexico Missouri, Tom enlisted into the Navy from November 1963 until his honorable discharge, November 1969. Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Redding who passed away on March 10th, 2002, his mother Christine Alberta, and his father, Thomas Sr. He is survived by his two daughters: Shelley Kull Bates of Rolla Missouri, Wendy Kull of Edgar Springs Missouri, Grandson Dustin Sullins of Ozark, Missouri, Granddaughter Jocelyn Bates of Wesley Chapel, Florida, Great Granddaughter, Eleanor Sullins, Ozark, Missouri, sisters Thomasine Valdes of House Springs Missouri, Jeanette Sapper of Hillsboro, Missouri, nieces Tammy Fortune, Toni Fortune, Christine Link, nephews Ted Fortune, Forrest Fortune, Robert Peckman, two great nephews Cody Link and Tommy Fortune. It is with both heavy hearts and joyful memories that we say goodbye to Thomas (Tom) Kull who passed away peacefully on March 19th, 2025, at the age of 78. Tom lived a full life of work, hobbies, and family, touching the hearts of everyone who knew him. Tom's achievements were many, but he often humbly spoke of three that he held in the highest regard. Firstly, his honorable service in the Navy, a testament to his courage and devotion to his country. Secondly, raising two daughters, Wendy and Shelley, was an achievement that brought him immense pride and joy. The love he had for his girls was unparalleled, only matched by the adoration he had for his late wife, Ann Redding Kull, with whom he shared a profound and enduring love. Lastly, Tom found great achievement in the simple, yet significant, pleasure of spending quality time with his family, a testament to what truly mattered most to him. Tom's hobbies were as diverse as his personality. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman, finding peace and contentment in the tranquility of nature. Tom also derived great pleasure from watching stock car racing, his excitement palpable with every lap. But it wasn't just about the solitude of hunting or the thrill of racing; Tom loved bringing people together. His fish fry’s were legendary, a time for friends and family to gather, share stories, and enjoy good company. His love for boat cruises and exploring other parts of the world spoke to his adventurous spirit, always seeking to discover and experience the new and unknown. Thomas M. Kull will be remembered for his dedication to family, his heartfelt spirit and the everlasting impact he had on all those who knew him. His legacy of love, laughter, humor and courage will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, Cedar Hill, Mo. Visitation will be held from 11-2pm until the time of the service.
