Tammy Teresa Harbaugh

Harbaugh, Tammy Teresa (nee Carroll), of Cedar Hill, Missouri was born on August 12, 1962 to the late Charles Emmett Carroll and Doris Ella (Vandiver) Carroll in Rolla, Missouri and entered into rest Sunday, October 8, 2023 at the age of 61. Tammy graduated from Rolla High School in 1980 and immediately went to work for the University of Missouri – Rolla where she met the love of her life, Michael William Harbaugh. Tammy and Mike married on December 1, 1984 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Rolla, Missouri and four beautiful children were to follow. Tammy’s creativity was evident from the beginning of her professional career and found her perfect job at Maritz Travel where she worked in various areas of graphic design for 34 years. Tammy’s family always came first and she loved being a mom but she also loved to travel. Mike’s work took him to many places around the world and Tammy gladly traveled with him. Both Tammy and Mike have a love for the national parks, especially Utah where they took their family vacations to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. However, Tammy’s ‘thing’ was music, everything about music and bands, she knew and loved so many bands which led her to many concerts, sometimes traveling far to see a certain band she loved. Her love of music also made her a great asset when competing in trivia! The day that Tammy became Mimi to her precious grandson, Cole, was one of her proudest moments and she was a great Mimi. Tammy leaves behind her husband of 39 years, Michael of Cedar Hill; daughter Amanda Snow (David) of St. Louis; Jonathan (Emily) of St. Charles; Christopher of Miesau, Germany; Daniel of Cedar Hill; grandson Cole Harbaugh of St. Charles and her fur babies Dory and Gracie. Tammy also leaves behind her older brothers, Terry Carroll, Randy Carroll and Derek Carroll and baby sister Tracy (Carroll) Stock, all of Rolla, Missouri and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 3:00p.m. until 6:00p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri 63016. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, October 16, 2023 at 10:00a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4696 Notre Dame Lane, House Springs, Missouri 63051. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Cedar Hill, Missouri.
