Paul Vincent Elder

Elder, Paul Vincent, of House Springs, Missouri, was born January 13, 1945 in Perryville, Missouri to George and Zelma (nee Blechle) Elder and entered into rest Sunday, September 24, 2023 in House Springs, Missouri at the age of 78 years. He is preceded in death by, his loving wife: Kathy Elder, his four (4) brothers: Danny Elder, Steve Elder, Jerry Elder, Donny Elder, his son-in-law: Zach Daugherty, and his parents. He is survived by, his three (3) children: Michael (Gloria) Elder, Jason (Holly) Elder, and Jennifer Daugherty, his eight (8) grandchildren: Veronica (Robert) Germann, Danielle (Corey) Neilson, Michael Elder, Jr., Joshua Elder, Jacob (Amy) Winford, Hailey Winford, Krysten Elder, and Jayden Elder, his four (4) great grandchildren: William, Noel, Lisa, and Nora, his five (5) siblings: Mary Parker, Barb James, Bobby Elder, Jimmy Elder and Rich Elder, and twenty-two (22) nieces and nephews. Paul was a loving husband, devoted father, doting grandfather, and beloved brother. He loved spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. He cherished 52 years of a beautiful life with his wife, Kathy. They did everything together. He has greatly missed her and now they are together again. Paul was a proud member of the Unites States Army. He dedicated his service and time to the Reserves. Paul was an ambitious young man from the beginning of his career. He worked his way up from the sweeping the floors to becoming the Operations Engineer managing 3 electrical plants for Ameren Missouri. Paul loved the outdoors – fishing, hunting, and camping. He and his wife enjoyed extensive travel. Paul was quite the skilled craftsman. He could fix anything and had a talent for winemaking. Paul will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri 63016. Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 2, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary followed by Graveside Service with full Military Honors at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
