Iliff, Pastor Marvin R., of House Springs, Missouri, was born May 12, 1932, in Springfiled, Missouri, to Ernest David and Belva (nee Simmons) Iliff, and entered into rest, Thursday, October 4, 2012, at De Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 80 years, 4 months and 24 days. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest David and Belva (nee Simmons) Iliff, one (1) child, Charolette Iliff, one (1) grandchild, Tanja, two (2) siblings, DeeDee Carter and Joe Iliff, He is survived by, his wife, Rosalie (nee Johnson) Iliff, of House Springs, Missouri, (married June 1, 1950), four (4) children, Ed (Janice) Iliff, of High Ridge, Missouri, Debbie (Dennis) Wallch, of Chanhassen, Minnesota, Daniel Roland (Claudia) Iliff, of Cedar Hill, Missouri and Stacy Neal Iliff, of Mapaville, Missouri, ten (10) grandchildren, Jeff, Cheri, Jennifer, Krista, Lesley, Sherri, Daniella, Timothy and Jonathon, sixteen (16) great grandchildren, Angelina, Hudson, Alyssa, Madison, Connor, Desiree, Marcus, Mia, Collin, Faith, Jadlyn, Donovan, Serenity, Nadia, Max and Makial, two (2) siblings, David Iliff, of Imperial, Missouri and Barbara Jean Boone, and many other relatives and friends. Pastor Marvin was a man of deep passion, spirit and wisdom. As a Pastor, he started a mission church in 1968 called United Baptist Mission which was established as a church in 1971 and then named First United Baptist Church of House Springs. That church has now become Hillview Acres Church. He enjoyed reading and studying his Bible, gardening, fishing, and traveling. Pastor Marvin was a body builder and a golden glove fighter. He is a veteran of the United States Marines. Pastor Marvin was also a man committed to his family and someone who really enjoyed life. His family and grandchildren where a big part of his life, the pure bliss of a day spent with those he loved – all these were his rewards for a life well lived. He will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him. . Visitation Monday, October 8, 2012, from 3 until 8 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016.
