Hainz, Lillian Doris (nee Day) of Cedar Hill, Missouri, was born September 18, 1933 in Roxbury, Massachusetts to Earl Francis and Etta Violet (nee Randal) Day and entered into rest Sunday, September 1, 2024 in Valley Park, Missouri at the age of 90 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl Francis and Etta Violet (nee Randal) Day; her husband, Earnest W. Hainz Sr.; siblings, Herbert Day, Shirley Swinamer, Bebe Sevigney and Earl Day Jr. She is survived by her children, Loreen Grable, Scott (Donnette) Hainz, Ernest Hainz, Jr., and Debra (Terry) Nelson; grandchildren, Nathan, Amy, Megan, Abbie, Andy, Kelly, Violet, Holly, Michael, Jeremy, Mitchell, and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Cameron, Chase, Layton, Layla, Branna, Chloe, Zachary, Remington, August, Luke, Matthias, Lillian, Reid, Hayley and Jeremy Jr.; along with numerous other extended family and friends. Lillian was a woman full of warmth, joy, and love for the simple things in life. Her passion for babies, animals, and Christmas spoke volumes about her kind heart and nurturing spirit. She found delight in the magic of the holiday season, always spreading cheer and making those around her feel loved. Lillian's love for reading, playing Yahtzee, and solving word puzzles kept her sharp and engaged, while her enjoyment of card games brought her closer to family and friends. In her younger years, her creativity blossomed through her love of ceramics, showcasing her artistic touch. Spunky and full of life, Lillian was fiercely protective and carried the heart of a true "mama bear." She made everyone feel cared for and safe, always looking out for those she loved. Her strength and spirit were evident in every aspect of her life. Whether it was her love for babies or the joy she found in the smallest details of life, Lillian's presence was a gift that will be deeply missed but forever cherished. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Funeral Ceremony will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill, MO.
