June Laverne Williams (nee Cage) beloved Wife, Mom, Gram, Great Gram, Sister, Aunt and woman of faith was born July 18, 1930, in Pevely, Missouri to Clyde T. and Elsie F. (nee Mirgain) Cage went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 29, 2024, at her residence in Dittmer, Missouri, at the age of 93 years, 11 months and 11 days. She is proceeded in death by her parents, her beloved husband: Lee Richard Williams, two sons: Baby Williams and David Gerard Williams, siblings: Thomas Cage, Edith Baranowski, Clifton Cage, and Ralph Cage. She is survived by her children: Michael Lee (Joann) Williams, Andrew Clyde (Vicky) Williams and daughter-in-law Rene Williams. Grandchildren: Joshua (Christina) Williams, Christie Kavanagh (Matt), Justin (Nikki) Williams, Aaron (Jackie) Williams, Carrie (Rusty) Bishop and Charles Collins, sister: Nancy Gibbs and sister-in-law: Carolyn Williams. Great-grandchildren: Coby, Hunter, Drew, Brady, Henry, Finley, Addison, Emma, Grant, Trent, Harrison, Haley, Joshua and Jessie. Her greatest source of happiness was her family. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, loving her family, all of them. She was a devoted member of St. Martin's UCC Church in Dittmer, Missouri, serving as a Sunday School Teacher and Cradle Roll Caretaker for many years. She was a lifetime member of the Cedar Hill VFW Women's Auxiliary and the Missouri Extension Club. She had a deep love of nature and enjoyed the outdoors tending her beautiful flowers, feeding the birds (and squirrels), camping and traveling. June and Lee never missed an opportunity to "Cut a Rug" particularly to the sounds of Big Band Music. She was always up for new adventures, loved decorating for all holidays and was an avid Cardinals baseball fan. She was the family historian documenting all the important events in the lives of her family with pictures, notes and newspaper clippings. She was the most wonderful cook and hostess, graciously welcoming everyone into her home. Visitation: Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Funeral: Wednesday, July 10, 2024, beginning at 8:30 am (visitation) followed by service at 9:30am at Chapel Hill Mortuary. Interment: Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. The family kindly requests donations be made to St. Martins UCC Christan Education, 7890 Dittmer Ridge Road, Dittmer, Missouri 63023, reflecting her passion for sharing the love of Christ.
