Richter, Joyce Lee (nee Noddin) of Sunset Hills, Missouri, was born October 4, 1932 in Wichita, Kansas to Donald and Bessie (nee Crease) Noddin and entered into rest December 3, 2024 in Sunset Hills, Missouri at the age of 92 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Theodore Richter; her son, John Childers, and her parents, Donald and Bessie (nee Crease) Noddin. She is survived by her three (3) children, Don (Leigh) Childers, Jeannie (Jerry) Harris, William (Lynn) Childers; her two (2) grandchildren, Kory (Erick) Keibler, Mallory (CJ) Newton; her two (2) great grandchildren, Grayson Keibler and Asher Keibler; her sister, Jerry (Harry) Mauradain; along with numerous other extended family and friends. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce, a loving wife, devoted mother, doting grandmother and great-grandmother, and beloved sister. Joyce was surrounded by the warmth of her family, who were the center of her life. She cherished every moment spent with them, filling their lives with love and laughter. A gifted artist, Joyce found joy in the beauty of painting, capturing memories and emotions on canvas. Her creativity extended beyond the easel; she was an enthusiastic sports fan who loved playing golf and cheering on her favorite baseball teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs—forever rivals, yet a source of lively conversation and joy. Her passion for sports also encompassed football. In addition to her artistic pursuits and love for sports, Joyce enjoyed the challenges of playing bridge and the satisfaction of completing crossword puzzles. A talented cook, she delighted her family with her culinary creations, often gathering everyone around the table to share meals and stories. Joyce will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy of love and joy will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 11:30 p.m. until 12:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 10301 Big Bend Road, Kirkwood, Missouri 63122. Funeral Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Kirkwood, Missouri. Committal Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 1:15 p.m.at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63016.
