Jessica L. Gilmore

Dr. Jessica Lee Gilmore (nee Deslauriers), passed away, Saturday, September 24th, 2022. Beloved wife of Clifford Wills Gilmore. Dear mother of Isabelle Rose Gilmore and Alexander Krick Gilmore. Sister of Richard Scott Deslauriers. Daughter of Deborah Ann (Dennis) Ostrander and Richard Rene (Donna) Deslauriers. Our dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend. Jessica was born in Germany while her father was stationed overseas and moved a few times during her childhood finally settling in the St. Louis area. She attended Pattonville High School where she excelled and achieved the status of salutatorian. After receiving a prestigious scholarship, she attended Webster University where she majored in Psychology followed by University of Missouri St. Louis where she achieved her PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Jessica’s high achieving ways continued in her professional years with the last 4 years of her career spent at Slalom Consulting where she was a Senior Principal Consultant focusing on the human factors of Data and Analytics within the Information Technology space. The best way to describe Jessica is that she was incredibly organized and driven to success while maintaining an everlasting compassion and care for those around her. She was always hard at work proving herself in the professional world or organizing her household and traveling with her husband Cliff (married in 2013). Her world was full of lists of things to do, detailed plans for projects and home improvement, and everything that needed to be done for her family. In the last 6 years of her life, she found a new focus with the birth of her children Isabelle and Alexander who she loved deeply and spent much of her time ensuring they had the best experiences and home. Jessica was a wonderful spouse, sister, mother, daughter, and much more to her entire family along with the outsized impact she made on her friends and colleagues that were a part of her life. Her amazing presence will be deeply missed by everyone she met and while her battle for cancer is now over she leaves an amazing legacy and example for everyone who knew her or knew of her.
