Jesse Levi King

Jesse Levi King of Dittmer, Missouri, was born October 9, 1932 in Kennett, Missouri to Noah and Georgia (nee Mills) King and entered into rest Saturday, April 12, 2025 in Dittmer, Missouri at the age of 92 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Georgia (nee Mills) King; son, David King; siblings, Audrey Newberry, Theodore King, Nina Rauls and Harry King. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna L. (nee Schmoll) King; children, Lisa D. Whitener, Sandy G. King, Roger P. (Paula) King, Robert “Bob” J. (Misty) King, Brian K. (Tracie) King, James M. (Leann) King and Theresa A. (special friend Darla) King; grandchildren, Chris, Eli, Ben, Rachel, Mandolin, Angel, Lisa, Mariah, Brandon, Katie, Jessica, Logan, Jacob, Abigail and Trevor; great grandchildren, Theo, Will, Charlotte, Henry, Nicholas, Savannah, Harlem, Ivy, Denim and Elijah; siblings, Mildred Lewis, Freda Casteel, Gary King, Charles King and John King; along with numerous other extended family and friends. Jesse was a proud veteran who honorably served in the United States Air Force. He worked 30 + years at Stupp Brothers Bridge and Iron as a fitter/welder, where he worked on several interesting projects. He found joy in the great outdoors, spending countless hours hunting, fishing, and tending to his garden. A skilled woodworker with a creative spirit, Jesse could often be found in his workshop, crafting pieces with care and precision. In his younger years, he loved the rhythm of farm life, raising horses, cattle and working the land with a steady hand and a devoted heart. Jesse’s life was a beautiful blend of hard work, love for nature, and deep-rooted values—leaving behind a legacy that will not be forgotten. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1500 San Simeon Way, Fenton, Missouri 63026. Luncheon will follow service with a procession going to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery starting at 1:00 p.m. for a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church and School.
