Shelton, Jerry, of House Springs, Missouri was born November 26, 1945, in Houston, Missouri, to Milburn and Jennie (nee Bates) Shelton, and entered into rest, Saturday, June 11, 2016, at St Clare Health Center in Fenton, Missouri, at the age of 70 years, 6 months and 16 days. He is preceded in death by one (1) son, Brian Shelton, his parents, one (1) brother, Wade Shelton, one (1) sister, Freda Mullins, one (1) sister-in-law, Viola Shelton and one (1) brother-in-law, Roy Mullins, He is survived by his loving wife Peggy (nee Haney) Shelton, of House Springs, Missouri, two (2) sons, Scott (Angel) Shelton, of House Springs, Missouri and Chris (Kerri) Shelton, of House Springs, Missouri, five (5) grandchildren, Casey, Brooke (Mitch), Jessica (Kory), Jake (Nora) and Raegan, three (3) great grandchildren, Greyson, Remington and Eleanor, three (3) brothers, Dale (Carolyn) Shelton, of Derby, Kansas, James (Sandy) Shelton, of Houston, Missouri and Bob (Judy) Shelton, of Licking, Missouri, one (1) sister-in-law, Margaret Shelton, of House Springs, Missouri, and many other relatives and friends. Jerry was a member of First Baptist Church of House Springs where he was a Deacon, the song director and served on several committees. He opened Shelton Collison in October 1979. He was involved with Rotary and Chamber of Commerce. Jerry loved fishing and going to Bull Shoals Lake. He also enjoyed hunting, golfing and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed going to Hardees to spend time with his friends. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
