Jason P. Cobb

Jason Patrick Cobb, age 45, passed away on November 19, 2025, in Saint Louis, MO. His life was one filled with deep love, unwavering devotion to family, and a spirit that touched everyone who knew him. Jason was the proud, devoted father of Lucas and Karley Cobb, the loving husband of Jamie Cobb (nee Konersmann); beloved son of Alan and Linda Cobb; the cherished brother of Mandy (BJ) Sherwood and Missy Cobb and best uncle to their children; dearest son-in-law of Cheri and Jim Konersmann; and caring brother-in-law of Mandy (Jeremy) Bowlin. His family was the center of his world, and he poured his heart into every role he held. He and Jamie shared a lifetime of memories. Their teenage love story began in the kitchen of the Ponderosa Steakhouse. They have always enjoyed things as a couple including Opening Day for the Cardinals, St Louis Blues games, slow-pitch softball, and Gary Allen concerts. But the real fun began when Jason became a dad. The highlights of his life for the last 19 years have been all about his children. Jason was the classic dad who once insisted, “No more dogs,” only to become the one who spoiled both his kids and the dogs the most. Jason was a graduate of the University of Missouri-Rolla, earning an engineering degree and going on to obtain a master’s degree. His natural competitiveness, quick wit, and loyalty made him someone people gravitated toward, both personally and professionally. Because of his hard work and dedication to creating a childhood full of adventures and experiences for his children, they have enjoyed many traveling adventures and have memories and tales to tell that will last a lifetime. St Louis Cardinals spring break training in Florida, turtles at Manasota beach, and searching the shorelines of Puerto Rico for pelicans. Though he enjoyed going to and watching movies and playing competitive board games with his family, he was never happier than when he was on the bleachers watching them play soccer and basketball. If you’ve ever been to a game, you could pick out his supportive voice from a mile away, always Lucas and Karley’s number one fan. Much to our surprise, his family even converted him to a true soccer lover. He enjoyed traveling to see Zach Bryan in concert with Lucas, and was the first one to get Karley into alligators during their vacations to Florida. Jason was an active member of Connect Church STL, where he built community and lived out the values he cherished. Everything he did - every effort, every decision- was rooted in love for his family. His legacy will live on in his family, in the memories he created, and in the countless lives he brightened simply by being himself. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
