Jacqueline Litty

Litty, Jacqueline (nee Opel) of House Springs, Missouri, was born June 27, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to Donald and Bernice (nee Stock) Opel and entered into rest Monday, December 25, 2023 at the age of 81 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Bernice (nee Stock) Opel. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Litty; her daughter Laura Litty, her son Craig Litty and daughter-in-law Sheila Litty, and her brother Kevin Opel. Jackie’s loved survivors also include four grandchildren, Holly Sweeney, Alexander Litty, Alexis Marsh, and Chelsea Litty; three great-grandchildren, Malani Christian Marsh, Jaxie Patrick Marsh, and Daphne Foster Marsh and numerous other extended family and friends. Jacquline Litty, affectionately known as “Jackie,” passed away leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Paul, a loving mother to her children, and a doting grandmother and great-grandmother who found true joy in spending time with her beloved family, especially her precious grandbabies. Jackie also had a deep love for her four-legged friend, Annie, whom she cherished dearly. She found immense happiness in the company of her entire family and made it a priority to create lasting memories with them. Jackie had a successful career in nursing, dedicating many years to caring for others with unwavering kindness and empathy. She also enjoyed travelling and spending countless summers at the lake with her husband, Paul, creating unforgettable experiences. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her, but her spirit will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched with her warmth, compassion, and unwavering love. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Funeral Ceremony will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill, MO.
