Jack L. Turnbull

JACK L. TURNBULL, SR. of Cedar Hill, Missouri was born April 10, 1932 in Doe Run, Missouri to Paul and Opal (nee Campbell) Turnbull and died Monday, March 23, 2009 at his home in Cedar Hill, Missouri at the age of 76 years. Jack proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1955 and retired May 30, 1989 from the Aerospace Division of McDonnell-Douglas Corporation as an Electrical Design Engineer. He was a devoted husband and father â€“ focused always on Virginia, his children, warm friendships and his faith. His parents and one (1) sister, Beverly Walker, precede him in death. He is survived by his wife of fifty-six (56) years, Virginia (nee Fletcher) Turnbull of Cedar Hill, Missouri (Married August 11, 1952 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas), also by five (5) children, Susan (husband, Jon Euchner) Turnbull of Indianola, Iowa, Jack (wife, Sharon) Turnbull of Barnhart, Missouri, Jill (husband, Jim) Jones of Winter Park, Florida, Carla (husband, Daniel) Raidt of Ellisville, Missouri and Daniel (wife, Shelley) Turnbull of House Springs, Missouri, and thirteen (13) grandchildren, Rachel, Brendan, Bradley, Adam, Evie, Aaron, Andy, Kayleen, Kelsey, Megan, Hannah, Ashley and Joseph, his brother, Richard (wife, Jackie) Turnbull of Alamagorda, New Mexico and his sister, Paula (husband, Ron) Hubert of Mt. Olive, Illinois, Virginiaâ€™s three (3) siblings, Bill Fletcher of San Antonia, Texas, Bonnie Sorrell of Doniphan, Missouri and Doyle (wife, Barbara) Fletcher of Doniphan, Missouri, Virginiaâ€™s mother, Vida Fletcher of Doniphan, Missouri, and Jackâ€™s aunt, Jean Daniely of Farmington, Missouri and many other relatives and friends. Memorial Service 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at St. Martinâ€™s U.C.C. in Dittmer, MO with Fellowship beginning at 10:00 a.m. and Luncheon to follow.
