Gwen L. Reeser

Reeser, Gwen L., of Cedar Hill, Missouri, was born June 20, 1940, in Evansville, Indiana, to Russell Wood and Garnet Evelyn (nee Moll) Doom and entered into rest Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at SSM St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 75 years, 10 months and 27 days. She is preceded in death by one (1) child, Hope Chassaing, her parents and one (1) brother, Russell Wood Doom, Jr.. She is survived by her husband Deane Reeser, of Cedar Hill, Missouri two (2) children, Robert Edward Dove, of St. Louis, Missouri and Michael Winter (Nicole) Dove, of Bloomington, Minnesota, three (3) step-children, Karen (Larry) Jones, of Cornell, Illinois, Tim (Amy) Reeser, of Danvers, Illinois and Kevin Reeser, of Secor, Illinois, nine (9) grandchildren, Colby Dove, Claire Dove, Bruce Jones, Anna (Derek) Zander, Caitlyn (Carlos) Lopez, Daniel (Mallory) Jones, Wyatt Reeser, Levi Reeser and A.J. Reeser, one (1) great grandchild, Blake, one (1) twin sister, Jackie (David) Johnson, of St. Louis, Missouri and many other relatives and friends. Gwen work as an educator for many years before retiring and working for Joyce Myers Ministry. She enjoyed puppetry with children, ministering to children and singing. Gwen was very gifted and enjoyed writing. Gwen also went on six missions trips to Jamaica where she ministered to children with puppetry. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation Monday, May 23, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Service will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Community Church, 4824 Scottsdale Road, House Springs, Missouri. Interment will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
