Gregory M. Sanders Sr.

Gregory M. Sanders Sr. of Hillsboro, Missouri, was born October 12, 1979 in St. Louis, Missouri to Gregory and Kecia (nee Kraemer) Jones and entered into rest Wednesday, April 23, 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 45 years. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Shirley Kraemer and Robert and Nancy Jones. He is survived by his parents, Gregory and Kecia (nee Kraemer) Jones; children, Gregory M. Sanders Jr. and Grace Sanders; siblings, Fallon Williams and Nathan Jones; nieces Piper and Violet; companion, Holly; family friend and mother of his children, Laura Sanders; along with dear cousins, Aunts and Uncles, other extended family and friends. Greg was a devoted father whose love for his children was unwavering. He was deeply proud of everything they accomplished and took great joy in being present for their milestones. Whether it was coaching their little league football and baseball teams or cheering from the sidelines, Greg was one of their biggest supporters. He was a Hillsboro Hawk through and through. His passion for sports extended beyond the little league and high school fields-he was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, MIZZOU football, and St. Louis Blues. Greg found joy in simple pleasures, his beloved pets, spending time outdoors, SXS rides, fishing or relaxing by the lake and river, where he felt most at peace. As a meticulous mechanic, Greg worked at Sapaugh GM Country, where he proudly stood alongside his family, building a legacy rooted in teamwork and commitment. He had a true talent for cooking, and mealtime was always something special in his home. Greg didn’t just cook for his family—he taught them how to cook, sharing recipes, techniques, and the love that came with each dish. His humor, dedication, and the values he passed on will live on through the family he loved so dearly and the memories he helped create. A memorial visitation where we will celebrate the lives of both Gregory and his grandmother, Shirley will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary- Robert Brown Chapel 103 4th St. Hillsboro, Missouri 63050.
