Warren, Funston E., of Fenton, Missouri, was born November 21, 1932 in Shannon Co., Missouri to Walter and Alice (nee Heaton) Warren and entered into rest on October 30, 2022 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 89 years, 11 months, and 9 days. He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Thelma (nee Martin) Warren, and twelve (12) siblings, Hazel (Les) Hare, Frieda (William) Bell, Dorothy Lyerla, Thela (Gene) Vale, Ansel (Mary) Warren, Wanda Warren, Laurel (Sylvia) Warren, Calvin (Myrtle) Warren, Amos (Nellie) Warren, Audrey Warren, Bernetta Warren, Lindell Warren, and his beloved daughter in law Roberta Cawthorn Warren He is survived by his six (6) children, John (Marlea) Warren, Melinda (Arbi Ben Abdallah), Ed (Margaret) Warren, Rob (Candie) Warren, Larry (Celeste) Warren, Marty (Amber) Warren. Eighteen (18) grandchildren, Justin (Megan) Warren, Sarah (Chad) Thomas, Josh Warren, Eli (Genny) Warren, Colin (Dee Dee) Stagner, Lucas Warren, Mindy (Rob) Miles, Marissa (Bobby) Barna, Colin (Kara) Warren, Ryan Warren, Chelsea Warren, Alison (Dylan) Stagner, Miriam Ben Abdallah, Emily (Corey) Halker, Caitlyn Warren, Leila Ben Abdallah, Andrea Warren, and Jake Warren Nineteen (19) great-grandchildren, Ellee, Briana, River, Kennedy, Funston, Abbey, Allice, Lilliana, Rose, Charlette, Darius, Nora, Nadja, Violet, Loreli, Peyton, Loxley, Jules, and Griffin along with numerous extended family and friends. Funston was a loving son, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. His faith was important to him, and he was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Funston enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and camping. He liked to be busy, working around the house, and he took great pride in his yard. Funston enjoyed watching old western movies, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. But, for Funston, family was everything, and he loved being a grandpa and great grandpa, especially having all the kids visit. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Services will be held Monday, November 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at FELLOWSHIP BAPTIST CHURCH, 2735 High Ridge Blvd, High Ridge, Missouri with interment following the Service at JEFFERSON BARRACKS NATIONAL CEMETERY, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63125.
