MAY, Estelle B. (nee Grupe, of Sunset Hills, Missouri and longtime resident of Cedar Hill, Missouri, was born April 22, 1906 in Jefferson County, Missouri where she was raised on the Grupe Farm in Cedar Hill, Missouri, the sixth of seven (7) children born to Henry and Bertha (nee Kramme) Grupe, and entered into rest, Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Friendship Village of South County in Sunset Hills, Missouri, at the age of 103 years, 3 months and 28 days. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gilbert W. â€œGibâ€ May (Married September 7, 1932 in Waterloo, Illinois, her siblings, Matilda Boemler, Helen Grupe, Walter Grupe, George Grupe and Harry Grupe, her brother-in-law, Vernon May, one (1) nephew, Jack Boemler and her dear friend, Marvel Radeackar. She is survived by three (3) children, Sandra H. (â€œBudâ€) Litzsinger of Lemay, Missouri, William G. (Sandra) May, of Cedar Hill, Missouri and Nancy C. (Gary) Lorenz of Sunset Hills, Missouri, seven (7) grandchildren, Barry (Jeanne) Litzsinger of Oakville, Missouri, Robyn (Steve) Sobo of Oakville, Missouri, Bill (Bob Taff) May of West Hollywood, California, Brian (Amy) May of Byrnes Mill, Missouri, Susan (Kurt) VonderHaar of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Lisa (Trent) Toone of Frontenac, Missouri and Erica (Jason) Hughes of Des Peres, Missouri, thirteen (13) great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Barrett, Samantha, Meredith, Audrey, Will, Wolfgang, Stella, Olivia, Eric, Gary, Ava and Alex, her sister-in-law, Barbara May of Fenton, Missouri, nieces and nephews, Merle Schuette, Linda (Robert) Ruggiero, Sherri (Larry) Weber, Keith (Lynn) May and Don Radeackar and many other relatives and friends. Visitation Saturday, August 22, 2009 from 1 p.m. until time of Service at 4 p.m. with a luncheon to follow at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016.
