Strauser, Dorothy “Dot” F., of Cedar Hill, Missouri, was born March 29,1939, in Timber, Missouri to the late Ben and Mary (nee Light) Weber and entered into rest Thursday, August 11, 2016 at her residence in Cedar Hill, Missouri at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 13 days. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Lagolia, Pauline, Elmo, Loreen, Tony, Lindell, and Glen She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Ted Strauser of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Seven (7) children, Denny (Blanche) Strauser of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Bud (Angie) Strauser of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Debbie (Steve) Dunagan of Fenton, Missouri, Janet “Necie” (Keith) Tramel of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Mary (Rick) Williams of High Ridge, Missouri, Danny (Renee) Strauser of House Springs, Missouri and Mike (Wendi) Strauser of Dittmer, Missouri, Fourteen (14) grandchildren, Buddy (Shannon), Ben (Casi), Chad (Jane), Derick (Melissa), Jake (Christina), Brent (Chelsey), Zack, Daniel, Emily (Richie), Katy (Craig), Mike, Ryan, Caitlin and Sam, Eleven (11) great grandchildren, Natalie, Elizabeth, Bentley, Hunter,Lexi, Brody, Ty, Chase, Cole, Brooke and Lainey, Three (3) siblings, Gertrude Taylor of Salem, Missouri, Leda “Jean” (Harry) Jackson of Salem, Missouri and Lavonne “Jan” (Carl) Marrill of Salem, Missouri, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Dot was a member of Friendship Baptist Church of Cedar Hill. She was a long time volunteer for the Peace Pantry. She loved reading, sewing, quilting, and gardening. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
