David Robert Washington

David Robert Washington of House Springs, Missouri, was born January 4, 1993 in St. Louis, Missouri to David K. and Debra (nee Roubidoux) Washington and entered into rest Monday, June 29, 2026 at the age of 33 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, David K. and Debra (nee Roubidoux) Washington; grandparents, Robert Washington, Raymond Roubidoux, and Ruth Roubidoux; aunt and uncle, Gary Roubidoux and Tammy Roubidoux. He is survived by his wife, Samantha (nee Carder) Washington; sister, Stephanie (nee Squire) Bell and brother-in-law, William S. Bell; grandmother, Virginia Washington; aunts and uncles, Tim Washington, Karen Washington, Cheryl Roubidoux, and Mark Roubidoux; mother-in-law, Kathy Carder; father-in-law, Randy (Kristy) Carder; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. David was a man of many passions and unwavering principles. He was a proud member of the Pipefitters Union Local 562 and he took great pride in his work and the values it represented. He had a deep appreciation for American history, especially George Washington, and found joy in nature, whether hunting, spending time outdoors, or simply admiring the world around him. David was a gifted poet whose words reflected his thoughtful spirit, and he also enjoyed working out, singing, and caring for animals. He was a former member of the Arnold Rifle and Pistol Club Junior Trap Shooter Team. He embraced the hobbies he loved, but above all, he will be remembered for his generous heart and his willingness to help even complete strangers. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Funeral Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary. Interment will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill, Missouri.
