Darlene Joyce St. Clair

St. Clair, Darlene Joyce (nee Kaseberg), of House Spring. MO, was born October 21, 1936 in Granite City, Illinois to August and Viola (nee Omson) Kaseberg and entered into rest Monday, September 5, 2022 in Bellville, Illinois at the age of 85 years, 10 months, and 15 days. She is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, David St. Clair, brother, Milton Kaseberg grandchildren, Alexa, Alaina, and Brendan Butler She is survived by, children, Desiree (Mike Dickey) St. Clair, Shane (Shelly Fessler) St. Clair, Angelique (David) Wright, and Troy (Lori) St. Clair grandchildren, Grayson Wright, Luke Wright, Anna Wright, Charlee St. Clair, Caitlyn St. Clair, Nathan St. Clair, and Madison St. Clair nieces and nephews, Michael Kaseberg, Donna Gruwell, Patricia Wehrheim, Gary Kaseberg, Jean Lesser, and Sue Pamaran along with numerous extended family and friends. Darlene “Dee” St. Clair was loved by many. She was vivacious, articulate, well educated, and full of energy. Born and raised in Granite City, IL, where she met her lifelong friend LaVerna Corbitt. Then off to SIU-C to get her teaching degree. While at Goosebay Labrador, she met David St. Clair, to be married 56 years. She taught the rest of her career, Spanish in Highland IL, then English with Special School District, South Tech. After retirement, she volunteered at Feed My People, earning quite a reputation as a 10,000+ hour volunteer. She loved travel, dogs, reading, movies, dancing, playing cards, but the most important things were her Family and God. She was on just about every committee at St. Martin UCC, High Ridge MO. Her children and grandchildren gave her energy and life. She will be missed by her many friends, nieces, nephews, students, volunteers, and co-workers and all who knew and loved her. Darlene requested no flowers, please make memorial donations in her name to Feed My People, 3295 Ottomeyer Rd, High Ridge, MO 63049.
